The massacre in the Syrian area of Houla has prompted Australia to expel two Syrian diplomats, and France now says that it will be expelling the Syrian ambassador to Paris.<br /><br />Earlier on Tuesday, in Damascus, UN-Arab League peace envoy Kofi Annan met Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, to discuss a peace plan that looks to be in tatters.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports.
