El Salvador's government has declared a state of emergency after parts of the country were devastated by torrential rain and landslides.<br /><br />Emergency crews are digging though the debris to find survivors. Representatives from the Red Cross and United Nations are <br />meeting on Monday to co-ordinate relief efforts. Scores of people have died and thousands are homeless. <br /><br />Patty Culhane reports.
