Somali refugees fleeing to Yemen to escape the conflict in their own country are being treated with suspicion by the Yemeni government, which fears that al-Qaeda infiltrators may be among the new arrivals.<br /><br />Many of the refugees have been confined to camps.<br /><br />The move follows threats by Somalia's al-Shabab to send fighters to aid the Yemen-based al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mohamed Vall reports from the port city of Aden where migrants from the Horn of Africa are facing harsh new living conditions.
