Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will travel to the US next week to apply for full UN membership of a Palestinian State.<br /><br />Fears are growing in Israel that the bid could create more tensions and the Israeli army is preparing to use force if necessary. <br /><br />Israeli settlers are also making contingency plans should there be similar attempts in settlements in the illegally occupied territories.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Cal Perry reports from Occupied West Bank
