Russians are continuing to vote in parliamentary elections, as opposition groups and electoral observers reported instances of poll violations.<br /><br />Dmitry Medvedev, the country's president, cast his vote on Sunday in the elections, with the popularity of the ruling party United Russia seen as coming under pressure.<br /><br />Voting began at 20:00 GMT on Saturday in the Russia's eastern regions and is due to finish 21 hours later when polling stations close at 17:00 GMT on Sunday in the enclave of Kaliningrad, wedged between Poland and Lithuania.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Neave Barker reports from Moscow.
