Around 30,000 Hungarians have protested against changes to their constitution which give the government more control over the media and the courts.<br /><br />Protesters say the ruling Fidesz party is getting rid of democratic institutions and tightening its grip on power.<br /><br />But the government says the amendments complete Hungary's transition from communism to democracy.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Will Jordan reports.
