A new website is helping people donate to some of the neediest people around the world.<br /><br />Betterplace.org allows people to donate directly to specific projects rather than going through established charities which can have significant overheads.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from an orphanage in Lwala, in Western Kenya, that has been a beneficiary of Betterplace.
