Like many countries, Nepal has voiced concern over the possible effects of climate change. <br /><br />Rapidly rising temperatures have reduced snowfall in the Himalayas and are causing glaciers to melt, risking flooding among mountain communities and drought in lowland areas.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tony Birtley reports from Nepal's Banke district where environmental changes could have a disastrous effect.
