Prince Charles sets sail.<br/> <br />The Prince of Wales visited the Avenue of Sail and met the craftsmen who transformed the Sprit of Chartwell into the Royal Barge.<br/> <br />The upgraded boat will be the floating focal point for commemorating Queen Elizabeth's 60-year reign and will carry the monarch and senior members of the royal family across the river Thames.<br/> <br />After the meeting Charles took a trip across the river to the Belem, a three-masted ship from France, which is just one of many vessels coming from around the world for the celebration.<br/> <br />Sunday's pageant will feature a 1,000-strong fleet, and is expected to be the highlight of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations.<br/> <br />Alicia Powell, Reuters.
