As more corpses are recovered from the rubble in Haiti, the operation of burying the quake victims becomes an increasingly daunting task. <br /><br />Thousands of bodies have already been placed in a mass grave at the outskirts of the capital, Port-au-Prince.<br /><br />Followers of voodoo, an African-influenced religion which gives special importance to honouring the spirits of the dead, have complained to the government that mass graves are sacrilegious.<br /><br />But authorities say that due to the health hazards associated there is no alternative.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds from Port-au-Prince.<br /><br />(21 Jan 2010)
