Security has become essential to efficient distribution of aid as thousands of Haitians displaced by last week's earthquake face the realities of life in the devastated capital Port-au-Prince.<br /><br />But amid the death, disorder and devastation, some elements of normality are beginning to return.<br /><br />Rescue efforts are slowly winding down as humanitarian workers start to focus on delivering supplies and treating injured survivors.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds reports.
