Goals for fighting climate change set by the world's biggest polluters are inadequate, the United Nations has said. <br /><br />The US, China and the European Union were among 50 nations that met a UN deadline on February 1 to submit pledges to cut greenhouse gas emissions.<br /><br />But experts say those pledges fall short of what is actually needed, and only repeat commitments made before last December's climate summit in Copenhagen.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports.
