Indian and Pakistani government officials planned to resume talks, which were have been on hold since the attacks on Mumbai in 2008, on February 25.<br /><br />In an exclusive interview, Al Jazeera spoke to Hafiz Muhammed Saeed, the head of the Pakistani welfare organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa, who has been accused of masterminding the three-day assault which left 166 people dead.<br /><br />Hafiz rejects New Delhi's allegations and was cleared of any involvement by a court in Pakistan.<br /><br />He spoke to Al Jazeera about the planned talks and whether he believes they can help improve India-Pakistan relations.<br /><br />Although Saeed is a well known political figure in Pakistan, he rarely speaks publicly and asked Al Jazeera to disguise his face. <br /><br />[February 17, 2010]
