As Operation Moshtarak in Afghanistan's Helmand province enters its seventh day, concern is growing over civilians trapped in Marjah city.<br /><br />Hundreds wounded in the fighting have flocked to the only hospital providing international standard healthcare to civilians.<br /><br />The assault on the Taliban stronghold of Marjah is the first major test of US President Barack Obama's strategy to crush an eight-year insurgency. The joint operation by international troops and Afghan forces is also one of the biggest since the 2001 US-led invasion brought down the Taliban regime.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from Lashkar Gah.
