Toyota's troubles over its massive recalls are mounting.<br /><br />The company has confirmed that US prosecutors and regulators have demanded it hand over documents relating to the acceleration and braking systems in some its cars.<br /><br />The subpoena comes just two days before Akio Toyoda, the president of the beleagured motor manufacturer, faces the first of three congressional hearings over the mass recall. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports (23 Feb 2010).
