India and Pakistan have held their first high level talks between the countries' foreign secretaries on Thursday after a 14-month diplomatic standoff.<br /><br />Co-ordinated attacks in Mumbai, India's financial capital, in 2008 by armed men allegedly from Pakistan, had prompted India to freeze talks with Islamabad.<br /><br />The country accused Pakistan of not taking enough action against "terrorist" groups.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Prerna Suri reports from New Delhi, on the talks and the opportunity that it provides to help reduce tensions and rebuild trust between the two nuclear rivals. <br /><br />[February 25, 2010]
