Andy Garcia and Eva Longoria arrived on the red carpet Thursday night (May 31) for the Los Angeles premiere of the epic action film, "For Greater Glory."<br/> <br />The movie that aims to shed light on Mexico's war against Catholicism, stars Oscar-nominated actor Garcia as one of the leaders of an insurgency of Catholic rebels.<br/> <br />The Cuban-American actor was inspired by the true story that at times has been forgotten.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE Andy Garcia saying (Spanish):<br/> <br />"It is sincerely a great honor to be a part of the film, to be able to portray such an heroic character in the film," said Garcia.<br/> <br />Featuring an international cast of actors that includes Hollywood starlet Eva Longoria and Golden Globe winner Peter O'Toole, the epic movie is Mexico's most expensive production with a reported budget of about 20 million dollars (USD), considerably higher than other home-grown feature films.<br/> <br />The epic historical drama, which had an April 20 release in Mexico, will be hitting theaters in the United States on June 1st.<br/> <br />John Russell, Reuters.
