The Russian city of Sochi is set to host the 2014 Winter Olympics. Construction for the event has begun.<br /><br />But conservations are concerned building is threatening endangered species surrounding the city - home to many protected plants and wildlife.<br /><br />The problem has prompted the World Wide Fund for Nature, hired by Russia to advise constructors, to suspend their work in protest.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Neave Barker reports from Sochi.<br /><br />[March 10, 2010]
