US diplomats have arrived in Mexico to meet with their counterparts after three people connected to the US Consulate were killed by suspected drug gang members. <br /><br />The FBI has sent agents to the border city of Ciudad Juarez to help investigate the killings of a pregnant employee, her husband and the Mexican husband of another consulate staff member.<br /><br />In total nearly 50 people have been killed in Mexico over the past three days in apparent gang violence.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mariana Sanchez reports from Mexico City.
