British politicians are focusing on the economy as they hit the campaign trail ahead of the May 6 general election.<br /><br />The Labour Party of Gordon Brown, the incumbent prime minister, is seeking a fourth term in office, but trails David Cameron's Conservative Party in the polls.<br /><br />With Britain slow to come out of recession, most voters will be looking to the party which offers the best plan to revive the country's ailing finances.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tim Friend reports from London.
