Only a few thousand people are expected to vote in Darfur's internally displaced persons camps due to under-registration, but proceedings did not go smoothly for those who did turn out to cast their vote.<br /><br />There were complaints that many ballot papers were delivered to the wrong places, and some candidates said their names did not even appear on the ballot papers.<br /><br />The candidates took their complaints to the electoral commission but it said the irregularities were too many to count.<br /><br />Mohamed Vall reports from Darfur in Sudan.
