The ash cloud from the Icelandic volcano has forced many people who need to get across Europe to use road, rail and sea after their flights were cancelled.<br /><br />It has been a lesson in patience, as they have had to wait hours and sometimes days to get tickets for alternative means of transport.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull is one of those who has been on the move.<br /><br />It took him almost a week to get from Poland back to Britain.<br /><br />This is his own account of the long journey from Krakow to London.
