In Egypt, red meat has been taken off the menu at more than 1,000 restaurants and butcheries as they staged a one-day boycott in protest to soaring prices.<br /><br />Many Egyptians say they can not afford the 25 per cent leap in meat prices in the past month.<br /><br />Some say greed is a main reason for the problem and have called on the government to help resolve it.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Amr El-Kahky reports from Cairo.<br /><br />[April 26, 2010]
