The US military has told Al Jazeera that it is negotiating with foreign governments to take non-Afghan prisoners from its controversial prison at the Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan.<br /><br />Several Afghan detainees have already been released ahead of the prison's transfer to Afghan control due at the end of this year.<br /><br />Two inmates were killed there while being interrogated in 2002, and other former inmates have claimed they were abused and tortured.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's James Bays reports.
