Scores of children have been hurt in a recent series of attacks on schools in China.<br /><br />In the latest assault, a man armed with a knife wounded 29 kindergarten students last Thursday in the eastern city of Taixing.<br /><br />But the government has been widely accused of trying to downplay the school violence and hiding victimised children from their own parents.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan reports from the eastern Jiangsu province in China.<br /><br />[May 3, 2010]
