Hundreds of troops have stormed the main encampment of anti-government red shirt protesters in the Thai capital, Bangkok.<br /><br />The offensive following weeks of street protests triggered clashes in which five protesters and one foreign journalist were killed.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay reports on a day of violence in Bangkok.
