It has been a deadly start to July in southern Thailand with at least eight people killed in two separate bomb attacks.<br /><br />More than 4,000 people have lost their lives since violence worsened six years ago.<br /><br />It is unclear who is behind the conflict, which has long been blamed on Muslim fighters.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay reports.
