One year after the country's worst ethnic riots in decades killed nearly 200 people, China's remote Xinjiang province is under tight security.<br /><br />The government has launched an all-out campaign aimed at preventing further bloodshed between ethnic Uighurs and Han Chinese.<br /><br />Teams of armed police are patrolling the streets of the regional capital Urumqi, and local authorities say stability will be maintained. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Melissa Chan reports.
