While the US is embroiled in a debate over restricting illegal immigrants, the gates have been flung open for one special category of foreigners: professional baseball players.<br /><br />Players from more than 40 countries can be found on professional playing fields all across the US, and one in three players in the major leagues are now foreigners.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman reports from Texas.
