An ominous column of smoke could be seen over the of Jericho ---the purported aftermath of government shelling according to new video posted to a social media website.<br/> <br />A tank reportedly destroyed by rebel forces. Reuters cannot independently verify the content of this video.<br/> <br />Outside of Damascus, opponents of President Bashar al Assad chanted "We have not forgotten the blood of the martyrs."<br/> <br />The demonstration took place as the president condemned the killing of 100 people more than a week ago.<br/> <br />In a speech to parliament, Assad attributed the massacre to terrorists acting at the direction of foreign groups.
