BP is preparing to test the new containment device it has lowered on to the leaking oil well at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.<br /><br />The British energy giant expects to know within the next two days if its latest effort to stop the gushing oil will be successful.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from New Orleans.
