Oil giant BP has begun testing a new cap that could finally choke off the massive oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico that has been gushing crude into the ocean for three months.<br /><br />The operation had earlier been postponed after the US government expressed concern the tests were potentially dangerous. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from New Orleans.
