Smuggling tunnels linking Egypt and Gaza have been called a lifeline for Palestinians during Israel's three-year blockade of the territory.<br /><br />But now that Israel is allowing many more goods into Gaza, the smugglers have started going out of business.<br /><br />More than 150 tunnel operations have closed in the last two months and thousands of people face losing their jobs.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports from Rafah, where the once busy smuggling bussiness has turned strangely quiet. <br /><br />[July 16, 2010]
