Businesses in the West Bank, the Palestinian territory, have long suffered from many costly trade restrictions imposed by Israel under the country's occupation.<br /><br />Taybeh, the only brewery of beer in the West Bank, and Pharmacare, a pharmaceutical company there that supplies medicine across Europe, are two companies with many grievances about Israel's restrictions.<br /><br />They say that high taxes and duties and long inspections of goods significantly hinder their ambitions to export and expand.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Bernard Smith reports from Ramallah in the West Bank.<br /><br />[July 25, 2010]
