PJ Crowley, a US state department spokesman, tells Al Jazeera that most of the documents leaked by whistleblower website Wikileaks are "years old", offering a "particular snapshot" of the situation at the time.<br /><br />He says the released material "does not necessarily represent" the latest perspective of what is happening in Afghanistan and Pakistan.<br /><br />And he asserts that Pakistan has done a reversal in its relationship with the Taliban, which its spy agency helped set up.
