Some caps were overvolted at 100 Volts AC via two transformers in cascade.<br />By reducing the 240 volts mains voltage from 150 to 100 Volts the caps don't seem to explode but vent more for a longer time.<br />I tried a couple of caps in the evening but it became too dark for my camera, hence a LED light was used which actually enhanced the white smoke plumes.
