An 80 Amp meter was tested to it's maximum loading.<br />The meter is rated at 125 Amp thermal but with an inherent error of -3%<br />Over 200 Amps oscillations in the disc occur and it starts poling with the magnet and current coil assembly.<br />Excessive heating occurred in the 35 mil supply cable at 350 Amps.<br />The Ammeter is a CT meter run of a 400/5 Amp CT.
