This is a simple telephone line status indicator which is very handy to check if a phone line socket is working.<br /><br />It will give a visual indication of 3 line status.<br />1.- Standby<br />2.- Engaged<br />3.- Ring tone<br /><br />To make it is simple. <br /><br />Old VU meter, one resistor 220 - 470 k.Ohms, small bridge rectifier.<br /><br />This one I made up for the New Zealand phone line sockets, but can be adapted to fit any phone socket.
