Detailed step by step footage with diagrammes and electrical calculations of how to make these virtually unlimited life pilot or night lights for in your house.<br /><br />This lamp is designed and rated for 240 Volts and runs at 12 milli Ampères and is constructed from an old B22 lampbase of a defective CFL lamp.<br />The led layout is up to youe own ideas, as long it fits safely in the fitting.<br />A great addition for at night, or use it as curiosety lamp to add a bit of character in your house or hallway.<br /><br />As mains voltages are involved here work with precision and make a tidy job of the lamp.<br />The resistors run hand warm to the touch and should not be rated at a less power rating as shown in the explanation at the beginning of the video.<br /><br />For 110 or 120 Volts and 25 Led's (3.3V) at 12 mA a resistor value of 3125 ohms is required.<br />Use 4 x 820 ohms 1 Watt resistors ( standard E 12 series)<br /><br />This lamp has been in service for 12 hours a day with no faillures or loss of brightness.
