With almost 150,000 international troops in Afghanistan, millions of dollars are being spent every year to supply them with food.<br /><br />However, Afghans have received very little financial benefit from the influx of troops.<br /><br />Nato has launched a new policy to encourage the consumption of local produce, but the majority supplies are still being imported from abroad.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from Kabul, the Afghan capital.
