Google has announced a $12.5 bn bid to buy Motorola's mobile technology division.<br /><br />If approved, Motorola Mobility would be the biggest acquisition by the web giant, and allow it to compete directly with Apple.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports from Washington DC.
