A UN research has showed that people in the Asia Pacific region are four times more likely than the global average to lose their homes to climate change and natural disasters.<br /><br />This has led to a massive wave of urbanisation, leading to a housing crisis in big cities and creating a desperate need for resilient housing in the region's cities.<br /><br />A pilot project involving micro savings launched in the Thai capital could be one approach to solving the growing housing problem.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Veronica Pedrosa reports from Bangkok.
