Flooding has inundated much of Thailand's agricultural heartland, paralysed hundreds of factories and threatened to burst into the capital.<br /><br />Only days after some officials indicated the worst threat had passed, flooding in areas directly north of the city worsened.<br /><br />Bangkok's city government is now urging residents in seven northern districts to move belongings to safe spots.<br /><br />The mixed messages from the government have left people confused about the threat and decimated confidence in the government that took power in August.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Azhar Sukri reports.
