A study has found that more than a third of drugs used to fight malaria in Southeast Asia and sub-Saharan Africa are either of poor quality or simply fake.<br /><br />Global death rates due to malaria have fallen more than 25 percent in the last 12 years. <br /><br />But the researchers say this progress will be threatened if unregulated drugs continue to be used.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley has the story.
