ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: A bus carrying Bolivian students to an athletic meet in La Paz plunged off a mountain road on Thursday, killing at least 16 people and injuring more than 30.<br/> <br />Local websites reported the bus was carrying students and teachers from the Chicaloma school district when it dropped 394 feet down a steep ravine. Witnesses said the bus was trying to avoid another vehicle when it swerved off the road.<br/> <br />Television images showed the bus completely destroyed, with bodies and belongings strewn along the hillside.<br/> <br />Officials reported there were 52 people on the bus.
