New U.S. unemployment figures suggest 2011 could be a year of recovery. <br /><br />The nationwide jobless rate has fallen to 9 point 4 percent - that's the lowest since May 2009.<br /><br />But it's not good news for everyone, for while joblessness remains a concern for all demographic groups in the US, young African American men are least likely to find work, with unemployment rates nearly double that of their white counterparts.<br /><br />In New York, a recent study found only one out of four black males between 16 and 24 has a job.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports.
