More of Colombia's indigenous peoples are speaking their native languages than in any time in recent memory.<br /><br />This is thanks to a two-decades old change in education policy that ended a prohibition on teaching Indian languages, resulting in an increasingly confident indigenous community.<br /><br />Indigenous organisations estimate that 80 per cent of the country's 1.4 million Indians speak a native language - up from around 60 per cent three decades ago.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Toby Muse has more from Bogota.
