Almost a year after a nationwide outbreak, the spread of the waterborne disease cholera is showing no signs of ending in Haiti.<br /><br />So far, more than 6,000 have died and about 400,000 have been infected, with people often relying on rivers as their main source of water for drinking, bathing and washing.<br /><br />Epidemiologists say the number of infections has spiked recently in many provinces.<br /><br />With the hurricane season on the way, aid workers on the Caribbean island are calling for more donations to prevent it from spreading further.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Craig Mauro reports from Port-au-Prince.
