Violence erupts in Myanmar.<br/> <br />At least seven people died Friday in the worst fighting in years between minority Muslims and Buddhists along the Western Coast of the country.<br/> <br />Now the government is sending in re-enforcements.<br/> <br />It is not clear what sparked the unrest but the western region has been tense for days after reports of the gang rape and murder of a Buddhist woman blamed on Muslims and the reprisal killing last Sunday of 10 Muslims.<br/> <br />The unrest presents a challenge to the government, which replaced a military junta last year and has pledged to forge unity among all groups in Myanmar, one of Asia's most ethnically diverse countries.<br/> <br />Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
