The Japanese coast guard has released video showing the rescue of British adventurer Sarah Outen.<br/> <br />She was rescued in high seas while attempting a record-breaking, 4,500 nautical mile solo row across the Pacific Ocean.<br/> <br />She became stranded when she encountered a tropical storm, which crippled her boat, nicknamed "Gulliver".<br/> <br />Since she left her home country on April 1, 2011, Outen has travelled 11,000 miles across Europe, Central Asia, China, Russia and Japan in a bid to circumnavigate the globe<br/> <br />solely under human power - by bicycle, kayak and rowboat.<br/> <br />The 26-year-old holds the Guinness World Record for her solo row across the Indian Ocean in 2009.<br/> <br />Her 21-foot rowboat has been abandoned at sea, according to Japan's coast guard.<br/> <br />Travis Brecher, Reuters
